Why doesn’t the Credit Grantor allow me to see my credit report?

Most credit grantors are not allowed by the credit bureaus to show you your own credit report. However, credit bureaus and other companies do allow you to purchase your personal credit report for a fee. Most credit grantors look at information from one of the “Big Three,” i.e. Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
