STEP TWO

The second step of the approach is to concentrate on completely paying off the lowest balance on your credit card. By paying off the lowest credit card balance, the top of the debt pyramid is eliminated. One should pay more than the minimum payment so that you can pay off your credit card bills fast. For example, if the minimum monthly payment is $40 on the smallest balance, you should pay approximately $75. ($40 minimum required plus an additional $35) Pay this extra amount every month until the entire balance of the first card is paid off. If you have more money, you can pay more than $75. The more you pay, the faster your credit card debt will eliminate and sooner you will be debt free.
